Woman Killed in Early Morning Crash in Queens on Nassau Expy.

A Valley Stream woman was killed early Tuesday morning when the car she was riding in crashed into a tree in Queens.

According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), Patina Deygoo, 22, was riding in the backseat of a Nissan that crashed into a tree as it was traveling eastbound on Nassau Expressway near the exit for John F. Kennedy International Airport around 3:19 a.m., the Long Island Press (LIP) reported.

The driver and two passengers in the car were taken to Jamaica Hospital, where Deygoo died. The driver is listed in critical condition and the other passenger is listed in stable condition. The driver and surviving passenger were described only as 26-year-old women, LIP reported.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The New York Police Department’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad is investigating the accident, according to LIP.
