A 22-year-old man died in a single-car crash on the Long Island Expressway in Queens that investigators believe is both weather- and speed-related.

Police say the victim, who was identified as Aaron Jung Hay Wu, lost control of his Nissan Altima on the eastbound Long Island Expressway at the ramp to the Clearview Expressway just after 3:50 a.m., WABC-TV reports. Wu was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators think the driver may have swerved to avoid a large puddle, and then lost control of his car. Police also believe he may have been traveling at high speed. The investigators noted poor weather conditions on the highway at the time of the crash, and said the ramp to the Clearview is a known flooding location, according to WABC.
